Where to Stay - Accommodations
We are pleased to announce that the Kelowna Hotel/Motel Association is supporting our event. We ask that you give them your support and book early to get the facility of your choice.

We are also pleased to announce that the Ramada Hotel and Conference Centre has offered special rates during our event including the week before and the week after. Email your request or call 1-800-665-2518 to book your room.
In addition, athletes can contact UBC Okanagan and enquire about their affordable accommodation options.
Another accommodation option is Mill Creek Manor, a B&B Cottage. It is available from Saturday night onward ($229 p/nt based on double occupancy minus a 10% Special Event discount) and sleeps 6. Please go to www.millcreekmanor.ca.

Limited homestay accommodations may be available to Elite level athletes only. Homestays are provided on a first-come first-served basis. Please contact us via email to arrange. Elites must have already registered for the race in order to qualify for homestay. Click here to read more

In the Center of Things
The Business Expo is in the center of things, located in front of Prospera Place and across from the race transition area. It is a high traffic area, and an excellent opportunity to attract spectators. The business expo area is where many spectators gather before or after races.
If you are looking for an opportunity to showcase your products and services to this desirable demographic group, please download, print and fill out the application provided (PDF) and submit it to the Kelowna Apple Triathlon Society (KATS), a not-for-profit group.
Set-up is Friday evening before the race.
Tear-down is Sunday afternoon (apx. 3:00 pm).
Expo participation may be limited by activity due to conflicts. We will discuss with you.

New & Improved
Here is the information about road closures and detours during the triathlon, as well as impact to traffic on both Saturday and Sunday, to download (in PDF format) for your convenience.

We have received many inquiries from people who want advise on how to get started doing triathlons or who want to improve their performance. There are clinics and coaches available to help. Some of these are listed below (note that there may be good clinics & coaches that are not on this list, but at least it is a good starting point). Note that we offer KOS Youth and Teen Camps 1 week prior to the race.
